About the Owner: Dominic V. Kolosky

I got into this business because I found that I have a passion for working with computers, upgrading, building, troubleshooting, repairing, and being fair, courteous, and respectful of the people I service. It all started when I broke my ankle. I was out of work for awhile and to pass the time we purchased a PC. Like most people, I was intimidated by this machine and when I finally got up the nerve to really tackle it, I found it was not working correctly. When I called Tech Support I got the round robin saying it was Microsoft's problem and Microsoft saying it was the hardware vendor's problem. Finally Microsoft techs listened and actually laughed at my inexperience with one tech calling me stupid. I was floored, so I decided I could learn this and I could probably be a tech that could help people without intimidating them and making them feel stupid. I really took to it and since then I haven't looked back and have a great reputation for treating my clients with respect, and giving them the Personal Care they deserve.

I have approximately 12 years experience building, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading personal computers first as self taught and doing work for friends, family and myself, and then later getting formal training at Porter and Chester Institute, graduating at the top of the class in 1996. I am A+ Certified, a Novell CNA, and hold numerous HP Certifications in repair and maintenance of HP personal computer products and various printers. I have attended numerous courses on DOS, Windows, Networking, Novell and cabling. I am also a current member of Tech Republic and  a registered partner with Microsoft.

From 1996-2003 I worked for various companies as a Field Service Technician covering CT and most of New England . The last company I worked for I received numerous Awards for Outstanding Service and Outstanding Customer Service, including the prestigious “Presidents Club” for Outstanding Service.

In June 2003, I started P. C. Computer Solutions LLC in hopes of carrying on my passion to be a compassionate Service Technician. I now specialize in servicing the little guys, (SOHO-Small Office, Home Office and the Home) because all the companies I worked for were only interested in pursuing the medium to large corporations. They did not want to pursue the smaller Offices, Home Office or the Home environment because it was considered too much of a nuisance. My clients are all small businesses, home offices or home owners having stand-alone PCs or have or want small networks without a server and were finding it hard to find anyone interested in servicing them and being treated fairly in the process. I offer Personal Care services to all of my clients in a Respectful, Courteous and friendly atmosphere.
